I'm Joshua Guo, a product designer passionate about the stories we tell to ourselves through the products we choose to use.
I am currently studying Communication Design and Creative Writing at Washington University in St. Louis (Class of 2027).
When I'm not designing, I'm at the gym, training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, reading or writing, and exploring St. Louis's food scene.
Currently studying abroad in Florence and seeking summer 2026 internships in product design.

(Class of 2027) with a BA in Comm. Design and second major in Creative Writing.
I'm drawn to problems where good design can meaningfully improve how people interact with complex systems, whether that's helping users and consumers manage food waste through inventory management and visualization, building trust for allergy sufferers through researching reassuring interface design,
or creating financial tools that feel accessible rather than intimidating.

Every project presents an opportunity to make a difference for someone, somewhere. Whether it's helping someone find community events within the city or helping a person who suffers from food allergies find places to eat with their friends in a country halfway across the world, design should use technology to life easier so that people can focus on what really matters to them.
